Spring Season Information
Spring Select sign ups are processed through eayso login. You must sign up to be considered for a possible spot on a Spring team. Note that due to limited resources (coaches, referees) in the Spring, not every player can be placed on a team. Teams will be formed in January.
Log In Here and look for "Signup for other programs" link.
Region 92's spring season is a secondary program in AYSO, much smaller than the fall season,
and is not open enrollment. It is open for players that participated in the prior Fall league.
Placement on a team is not guaranteed and is dependent on several factors, including the number
of applicants, number of coaches, and number of teams allowed in the Area league and subject to
balanced team formation. Currently, Region 92 participates in the Area 1D Spring Select program.
The AYSO Spring program is run through Area 1D and consists of teams from other Regions throughout
our Area (Hermosa-Manhattan, Redondo, Hawthorne, Westchester, and Lennox). The season is 10-weeks
and will span from March thru May for U7 though U19 divisions.
TIME COMMITMENT: Area 1D Spring season consists of about 10 weekly games from March through May.
Coaches may sign up for tournaments, which are a weekend of games. Coaches generally have 1-2
practices per week.
VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT: - Volunteer support is critical to the success of any AYSO program. Spring
soccer is limited by the number of qualified coaches and referees. Area 1D requires 3 referees
per home game, and coaches selecting players for teams may consider referee or AC support in selecting
their players.
COST/TRAVEL COMMITMENT: The cost of uniforms, chalk/paint for fields, league or tournament fees,
referee deposits, etc., are shared by all team members. Area 1D games are in local South Bay cities.
Tournament travel is at each player's and team's own expense.
