Important Info on Referee Training

The Basic Referee training course requires ~8 hours of classroom and field training. Two Basic Referee courses are being offered in El Segundo in September:

  • Tues 5 Sept, Thurs 7 Sept, & Tues 12 Sept, 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Tues 19 Sept, Thurs 21 Sept, & Mon 25 Sept, 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm

Volunteers must complete all three sessions of training to be certified as Referees. The training is modular and the agenda is the same for both sessions (see below) so it is possible to make up one session or another.

All classes will be held at El Segundo Middle School Library on 332 Center Street in El Segundo. Please contact me or call me at 310-322-6150 to register for these courses.

In addition to the above course, the course is being taught in the surrounding communities of Westchester, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Hawthorne on other dates. Details on these offerings may be found on the Area 1D website.

Again, you can complete the required modules in different classes. The agenda in these other regions may not be the same as in El Segundo so check with the instructor
